Bald Eagle spotted in Chatham

On Oct. 31 in the early afternoon, Cecilia Stevens from Valatie was traveling along Rock City Road in Chatham, when she noticed a Bald Eagle sitting in the trees just across from Ooms Conservation Area at Sutherland Pond. She took out her Nikon D3100 camera, zoomed in and snapped this picture. She said that sometimes she uses this route when traveling from Valatie to Pittsfield, Mass. to visit family. She added that she has taken many pictures of birds in her own backyard, as well as large birds in the wild, which she uses for her oil paintings.
